Program & Admission
Craftroots Entrepreneurship Certificate Program (CECP)
The CECP is a 3-month guided entrepreneurship journey dedicated to empowering rural entrepreneurs, artisans, and craft-based businesses by bridging the gap between the workshop and the market.
Our Theory of Change
We exist to restore economic dignity to grassroots creators by enabling traditional artisans to build sustainable enterprises that preserve India’s heritage. Our approach transforms skilled makers into visionary entrepreneurs by integrating modern business discipline with heritage skills through a practice-based, cluster-centric, and market-linked pedagogy.
Core Principles
Our program is built on four pillars designed to drive behavioral change and business sustainability:
-
Learning by Doing: Entrepreneurship is taught through real-time application, not just theory.
-
Contextual Learning: All training modules are rooted in local craft ecosystems and actual market conditions.
-
Collective Empowerment: Cluster-based peer learning is utilized to strengthen long-term sustainability.
-
Mentored Implementation: We provide continuous handholding to ensure lasting behavioral change.
